Klarissa Itzel Palacios
Creativity and storytelling have always been at the heart of what I do, whether through crafting compelling narratives and melodies, photographing life’s precious moments or empowering audiences via social media.
With a deep passion for educational equity and accessibility, I thrive on bringing innovative ideas to life and connecting with people through my work. My journey has been shaped by my vision disability and my consequential eagerness to capture this wonderful world in a variety of mediums for people of all abilities to indulge in.
Let’s connect and create something amazing together!
My Story
My path to communications didn’t begin in a newsroom or a creative studio—it began with an interest in law, policy, and the structures that shape power. I was drawn to the courtroom as a site of consequence, where language carries weight and stories determine outcomes. As I was immersed further into the legal realm, I realized my curiosity was less about legal procedure and more about what came before it: the narratives, perceptions, and social forces that bring people there in the first place.
Living with a vision disability ultimately reshaped that trajectory. It required me to reconsider not only how I worked, but where my strengths were most impactful. In stepping away from a traditional legal path, I found clarity in communications—a field where strategy, storytelling, and empathy intersect, and where accessibility and perspective are not afterthoughts but essential components of effective messaging.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of PR, advertising, research, and cultural analysis. I approach campaigns the way I once approached policy questions: by asking who is being heard, who is being excluded, and how language can be used responsibly and creatively to bridge that gap. My academic background in political communication and legal history continues to inform my work, grounding creative ideas in context, nuance, and intention.
At its core, my story is about reframing—seeing communication not just as promotion, but as a tool for understanding, connection, and change. It’s this lens that shapes how I collaborate, create, and build work that feels both thoughtful and human.

Why “Create More than You Consume”?
Create more than you consume is my reminder to engage with the world intentionally. In an age of an emphasis on production, I believe in slowing down to create—ideas, stories, and work that adds clarity rather than noise.
As my vision changes over time, this ethos has taken on deeper meaning. It encourages me to focus my energy on what I can build, contribute, and shape—prioritizing presence, purpose, and impact over passive consumption.
At its core, it’s about choosing creation as an act of agency: showing up thoughtfully, telling stories that matter, and leaving something meaningful behind.
